My Vote goes to "Happy Hardcore".
please downlaod some happy hardcore if you've never heard it before and well...be prepared! Imagine the fastest house youve ever heard....then speed it up avbout 3 times and you're in happy hardcore territiory! its pretty shocking to listen to at home, but at a rave its great, and happy hardcore fans are really chilled and just there for the rave, not drum and bass fans who go for the frontin' and fightin and shit. (that doesnt make sense really: ive been to drum and bass raves before, and they occasionally have a Happy Hardcore room/tent. particulary at The Sanctuary before they knocked it down. thats how ive been to a hardcore rave! i wouldnt pay to go to one!)
oh well i urge you to give it a quick listen! but if not nominate your most fucked up genre/style!

Sounds pretty fucking weird.
Uh, not a specifiic genre, but I'm not too crazy about music that has a lot of synths and fake drum beats (Postal Service, The Future Embrace, etc). I've just never really liked synth...fuck synth.

Praise and Worship music. A huge christian fad with hundreds of albums selling millions of copies... and they're all covers of the same 30-40 praise songs. This genre values repetition and familiarity over creativity and quality. Oh right... I guess it's supposed to help you get off spiritually. Whatever.
Shit makes me crazy in a decidedly unspiritual way.

Speaking of Christian music...Christian Death Metal?
I haven't actually heard any, but I'm sure it exists. Yet both go completely against the other in total "What on earth?" fashion. How can you make Christian Death Metal? GRROOOOAAAAAAABLESSED BE THE LORD GODGROOOAAAAHHHHHHH *BANG-BANG-DUGADUGADUG* PRAISE JESUS RUHHHHHHHHHH...It's completely wrong. Death metal just isn't Christian. The only thing that could be any more wrong would be Christian Black Metal.
I can't imagine Christian kids listening to bands like frickin' Deicide and deciding to follow that path.

Christianity has no place in death metal.
TIME TO RAWK!!!!
Slayer- Disciple
Drones since the dawn of time
Compelled to live your sheltered lives
Not once has anyone ever seen
Such a rise of pure hypocracy
I'll instigate I'll free your mind
I'll show you what I've known all this time
God Hates Us All, God Hates Us All
You know it's true God hates this place
You know it's true he hates this race
Homicide-Suicide
Hate heals, you should try it sometime
Strive for Peace with acts of war
The beauty of death we all adore
I have no faith distracting me
I know why your prayers will never be answered
God Hates Us All; God Hates Us All
He Fuckin' hates me
Pessimist, Terrorist targeting the next mark
Global chaos feeding on hysteria
Cut throat, slit your wrist, shoot you in the back fair game
Drug abuse, self abuse searching for the next high
Sounds a lot like hell is spreading all the time
I'm waiting for the day the whole world fucking dies
I never said I wanted to be God's disciple
I'll never be the one to blindly follow
Man made virus infecting the world
Self-destruct human time bomb
What if there is no God would you think the fuckin' same
Wasting your life in a leap of blind faith
Wake the fuck up can't ignore what I say
I got my own philosophy
I hate everyone equally
You can't tear that out of me
No segregation -separation
Just me in my world of enemies
I never said I wanted to be God's disciple
I'll never be the one to blindly follow
I'll never be the one to bear the cross-disciple
I reject this fuckin' race
I despise this fuckin' place

the punk scene is always a mess, nobody can be known without being "sell-outs" and it's all punker than thou crap, and there certainly are epople winning the battles, gutter-punks, squatters, real fuckin' anarchists, but it just seems a bit pointless, like, utter annonymity is a cop-out to writing good music.
it's such a hard line to walk in that culture...
not to mention the nazi's that have adopted the 3 chord, loud, fast and distorted principles... that and, most hardcore sounds exactly the same, and that would be half ok if it was decent, but it's terrible
commercial rap... nobody should be killing anybody over music, it went from the ghetto taking its own voice artistically to just a sham get rich quick scheme where the only integrity is how violent and materialistic you can prove yourself to be
metal is another scene i dont get, so many nu metal, and actual metalheads, are just so fuckin' angry and constantly putting on a tough guise, i can understand how anybody can be that angry all the time
indie itself, like, how that went from an idealogy regarding how you make your music to how your music actually sounds and all the hipsters who are big into their tight pants and their semi-retro semi-dance music or their garage rock bullshit... if you ask me, the root of it all is the fact that being a geeky lonely kid that gets off on the fact that the Smiths speak to you as a person, or that fact that you're searching for something beyond what is commerically marketable, or you want something with a backbone or idealogy to it, just, real fuckin' artistic sincerity has been subjugated by the hip and the crass and the impossibly ironic just cause it's the flavor of the day... it's utterly terrible... but i guess that's the fate of any genre that's around for long enough,
more when i think of it

 Have to agree with this one. It definitely does exist though, and is hysterically lame. That being said, a lot of Black/Death metal is quite amusing itself to listen to, just because of the lyrics.

And I was joking around. In the sense that I'm sure christian music CAN be good, but the stuff my mum listens to for instance is definitely not.

Hmm... I don't really like being stereotyped like this.... I am absolutely not anti-christian. I am in no way prejudiced. I've made it very clear on numerous occasions that I am in a very big way morally and logically at odds with the idea of religion in general. I'm not at odds with the people who practise religion (unless I'm at odds with them for other reasons, e.g. I do not like people who blow up the london underground, for any reason) but I will argue with them on the topic of religion, to be honest, fairly zealously. I know I can come off as being a bit hotheaded in such situations, but that doesn't mean I hate any of you or that I'm not thinking about what I'm saying.

oh yeah, and um....while chrsitian praise music is pretty crap as far as music goes, it does surve it's purpose rather nicely......at least, some of it does....the stuff that Third Day is putting out just seems to get worse and worse, it seems. icky.
I've been so fed up with this modernistic approach to worship that I stole a hymnal from a church. if they're not gonna use it, I know I can put it to good use. it definately has better songs in it than what they sing most of the time.

Yeah! I actually do appreciate that old stuff, there's some good ones. Not that I want to sing them week in, week out or anything, that gets boring as hell, but I can appreciate them.

I'm not really well-educated in the taxonomy of metal, but I do still enjoy the Christian metal bands I listened to in middle school and high school. Living Sacrifice and Zao specifically. Zao was probably more hardcore, though. Living Sacrifice had the stated purpose of bringing the Word of God to a new audience of metalheads, but I still think they rocked fairly well--not that I listened to any of their non-christian competition.
Zao is one of the few artistically viable bands associated with the Christian scene. They did a concept album about Dante's Inferno and simulated a decent into hell. They also did (another) concept album about what the world would be like if God died and mankind had a funeral for him, followed by partying.
And then there was Blindside, who was hardcore when they were on the Tooth & Nail label, but turned nu-metal when they signed with elektra and started recording with Billy Corgan. But now they're back on an indie label and I have hopes that I might like this new album of theirs.
I have to hang on to my musical roots, man...
