hi -_-;; my name is yu-li, and i'm from korea. hmmmm i'm listening to billy's solo album "the future embrace" now, and it makes me want to write something.

the sound is fresh. some songs are addictive. this album is "intelligent". he still proves his smartness through the delicate choice of tones and arrangement. however, i can't say it's a "great" album. it's becoz he doesn't express his emotions.

he has no energy any more. he's not sad or angry. he's not in love, and he doesn't feel guilty.

i don't want him to feel negative, but i wish him to "feel" something new. i think he needs love. poor old man. T_T

yeah, I still have myspace and I think theres actually a pic of me on there now :eek:

but no, I can't show you a pic of my hair now. it's not such a change anyway. I just trimed it back to a controlable length. now it curls up rest on my shoulders. makes it more curly that it was before.

No. I'm saying that he wrote angry, emotional songs when he felt that way. He was emerging from years of horrible treatment.

The songs on TFE seem to be uplifting to me, more positive and I think that has something to do with getting older. You have to move on at some point and seperate the past from the way you want to be now. Even I feel corny sometimes and feel overjoyed at life and being alive..I'm Ready! Ready, Ready, Ready! That song makes me laugh and smile.

I'm mostly saying as you get older you get more and more jaded and it gets easy to expect the worst from every situation. But you have to try to be happy.

I can't speak for Mr. Corgan because I don't know him.

Ninenine is bothered that he's not sad, angry, emotional, in love or doesn't feel guilty and that it's affecting his music.

Maybe Billy's found his "happy place". He might be too destroyed to make music if he felt all those things constantly for 20 years.
