In this thread people will be posting different websites that will bring you to the answers to many of the questions you will be asking. Such sites would include but are not limited to:

http://www.allmusic.com (this can be used to search for other bands as well)




HOWEVER. If you don't feel like looking things up yourself, don't be afraid to ask. BUT, be aware that people around here can be gigantic asses sometime. SOOOO, you may get flamed. You will probably get an answer, however, and don't lose heart. There are people that are worth getting to know on here. You just have to look sometimes.


TO Regular Posters:

Quit being asses. I mean, it's one thing to just poke fun at people, but it's an entirely different thing to flame them. ESPECIALLY if they've given no real reason for you to do so. I'm not saying that you guys have to be angels or anything...just lighten up on people sometimes. We all know who can take it and who can't and there's no reason to exploit those who can't.

is a pretty good site for comprehensive info on the band and related stuff. More so if you're looking up something older , as it's news updates tend to come slower than Siva.

For general things there's always google!

ps: I know I classify as a newbie, but I've just never bothered to register until now. I'm well aware how crazy some people are here.

Siva has all the info you need. I read about and listened to Mashed Potatoes among other things back in the day. not sure if the real audio files are still here, but technology has advanced loads since I used to download music so i imagine its even easier to get high quality shit from other locations. Ah if I only I had broadband when I used to FTP videos and shit. 3kbps is fucking slow when ur downloading a 100mb video.

I did get teh Simpsons episode though! took about 3 days but well worth it :)

I hated To Sheila for a good 8 months then started listening to it and thought it was wicked.

It's not that we are saying that you are new to the band because you are a new member. Just on average newer members, know SP's music well but may not have read up as much as others on the net or in books about them.

Yeah, there was an answerphone message that leaked onto the net.. it was from Billy's answerphone, and the message was from James. It was pretty bad quality, and all you could hear was something about "Reformation? Of the Pumpkins?
