Laurelhurst...LAURELHURST!?!?!D: That reminds me of a few weeks ago when Pete Krebs was playing at the Laurelthirst, and I couldn't go because I don't have any fake ID.
pssst. tyler...pete krebs will be playing for free during the pdxpopfestival this weekend.
friday night 7:50 – 8:20: Pete Krebs & The Gossamer Wings its free its all ages, now is your chance, i mena i know it will be hard to tell yourself away from the hammond but...when else do you get to see cool musicians for free?

I...
I...
I love you.
:therock: its cos i typed "mena" instead of "mean" ,innit? that always drives the guys crazies.
um when will i learn to type? when i'm 38? :O
there is going to be lots of good musics this weekend. yes yes.
(could we get a cool lil dancy emoticon all up in this joint? puh-leeeze-not that effin banana or elephant either. perhaps a dancing samurai bunny? :D )
anyways..how was the roof today? tell me later when i attempt to keep you from drooling all over your organ. drooling isn't attractive on grown ups, tyler. ok? just cos i'm used to it in my line of work...(um-yeah this isn't going anywhere-but the monologue is good in my head!)
"what about bob?" :therock:
http://www.artleather.it/Foto/Aero%20Saarinen.jpg
ok ok so even though i couldn't remember anything about him here he is -Aero Saarinen. i think he has nordic roots, like yerself, but i can't recall any of his bio. anyhow-he designed the st.louis arch! along with other things.
and now we know. :D and i think his father, also an architect, has another hard to pronounce weird vowel-y name.
oh yeah-what kind of aurora hammond do you have? like what is the number? cos you will need to know that to locate a manual, i do believe.

Such a dilligent sleuth you are. :)
The organ is a Hammond Aurora 8212. Now that I've taken most of it apart and played with it, I think I'll have a better idea of the questions I need to ask when I talk to someone that knows what's up.
How are you today?
i *am* a good sleuth, aren't i? because when i want to find out things i do it. or at least try. yes yes.
um, i'm good. how are you? i think i might need to eat some icecream tonight.
i am sorry that it didn't rain today. :( and instead that it was disgustingly hot. how am i going to survive in new york? HOW?
oh i got something to ask you, but i will either call you or pm you about it. perhaps.
yo dude. i'm back in p-town. eating leftovers from breakfast. suh-weet. ever been to the otis cafe in otis? yeah, cos it's pretty awesome. i bought a t-shirt adn found a lil block of wood to help comemorate (sp) the event of eating at the cafe. there was a guy in the back making pies-and he had a wrestling shirt on-i thought" tyler could take that guy-fo shizzle. and when i asked if they had a size small he informed me that they did...and he called me ma'am! :O
anyhow..lisa and i are going to be yer fanclub,ok? :-* thx.
why am i not at the beach? :therock:
and...do you know how to work a lil bbq?
:O
tyler i am so listening to your song 'sorry that it didnt happen' righ this second:D
tiah and i are so starting your fanclub

Tiah! What the hell are you doing home from the beach? I gots to go to bed right now, but I'll call you tomorrow when I get off work and we'll see how our schedules mesh. I almost went and got some gelato this evening. I really wanted some. Luckily, I have the will power to wait. But I want some tomorrow fo sho.
Oh yeah, I do, in fact know how to work a bbq. What are you planning on bbq'ing?
I'm really glad you guys like the music. I've got a digital piano now and an organ (hopefully I'll get it working soon) that I didn't when I recorded those songs. I'm really looking forward to re-recording them along with some new stuff I've got worked out and ready to go. This is important information to have if you want to start a fanclub.:-p
Ok. Sweet dreams, for it is off to bed with me! Have fabulous nights, the both of you. I will be in contact with you tomorrow, Tiah.
:therock: i said i was returning tonight. duh.
the item that should be bbq'd is hamburgers. there were hamburger patties purchased and not consumed and now they are in my fridge and they want to be grilled, i just know it.
thank you for restraining yerself from getting gelato. of course it is not as if you couldn't have had some today and tomorrow, silly. everyday is a good day for gelato! i bought icecream last night and kept meaning to eat it but kept forgetting(because we had to drink more whiskey and beer!) so when we took off today i brought it with and while we were eating brekky it got all nice and melty so post breakfast i drank most of it.
we're gonna need photos and guitar tabs for our fanclub, too. it's so obvious.(that we need those) :D plus we also need to know important details like ,you know, who your fav. authors are, how you got into playing msuic, etc etc. we'll send you soemthing to fill out. j/k
anyhow tomorrow here is the deal: i have to go take my final at 4:30(i have not studied at all-oops!)and then at some point my mom seems to think it necessary that i go to her house so we can attempt to call my sister in uruguay-but neihter one of us has out of the country long distance(well except i can call canada). so i don't know what is up with that bizness.
anyhow since you have to go clean up after work anyhow why don't you just call me when you are done doing that? if i'm unavailable cos of the test or whatnot just leave a message-oh yeah sorry it isn't in french anymore. :D
good night and sweet dreams.
Hey there i noticed this was playing at Costello's next weekend, you might wanna check it out...cos it is a swell film.
Costello's isn't the most ideal place for movie watching but it is doable-its a cafe so you know there might be people chit chatting but they seem to keep it down and all. i went there to wacth "bottle rocket" a few months ago-i needed to take notes on it for the paper that i eventually wrote. it was fine, though of course a movie theatre setting woudl be the bestest. (duh) however i had already seen "bottle rocket" so it didn't bother me too much to haev to see it in that format. if i had never seen it.. i dunno. in any case "cool hand luke" is one of the best paul newman movies eveahhhh
"Saturday Night Movie, "Cool Hand Luke", (1967) 8pm
What we have here is a failure to communicate! Lucas Jackson (Paul
Newman)
is a man who likes to do things his own way. That leads to a world of
hurt
when he winds up in a hellish Southern prison camp. He also ends up on
the wrong side of a sadistic warden (Strother Martin). The film is
loaded
with classic moments and great lines. A very cool film indeed."

its true. :D
