View Full Version : Elliott Tshirts!

I have shopped and shopped and shopped, and there seems that there are a limited amt. of Elliott shirts. Ebay, the sites suggested on Sweet Adeline, everything. I found the tribute one, (Xo - Elliott Smith, 1969-2003), made by the people in Canada, and a couple boring shirts. Where can I get one like this? http://www.blamonet.com/vb/attachment.php?amp;postid=1470856 I b'lieve this was on the "favorite shirt" thread, sorry if the person didn'twant it posted, but it seems all Elliott fans have wicked shirts, where can I get them? (Unless they're created, which I have no idea how to do!)

Thanks a bunch,
xomeg

i don't have any shirts, but i'd say make your own. the real concert tees will cost too much on ebay. you could take your design to a screenprinter & have it done however you want.

wow, that tis a beautiful shirt.
i talked to a friend, who said i could just scan it onto my comp and then transfer it to a tshirt, but that's alot of work, and i dunno which picture i would use.
the shirt i was talking about is attached, the figure 8 one, it's amazing, i wish i had it :( but...
i'm not talented enough for markering up the shirt either, heh heh...
thanks though

Some people in ?argentina? have some on ebay from time to time but they are very expensive, and I'm not sure of the quality, what looks ok in a 25mm square may not be the same life size, If anyone has bought one of these please let me know if they are ok because from time to time they have 'elliotts red shoes' and it looks good and ive deliberated but the paper round will have to pay more money before im willing to buy blind.

Once in NYC I saw this girl walking around Soho wearing a blue t-shirt that said: "Sweet Adeline" on it. I don't know if she made it or what. And before I could ask she was gone in the crowd...

Hey, Sweet Adeline t-shirt girl! Do you check this board?? If so let me know where you got your shirt!

Or did they make those here on the website like, long, long time ago or something?

Confused...

I got one in last year from a sweet addyier. I feel so embarrassed cuz' I can't remember who. It was when I was doing all that Elliott dvd burning for b&p. I was getting in lots of incredible Elliott related stuffs during that time.

But the t-shirt came from oldcrappytee.com. It's beautfiul. It says "I Love Elliott". The pic doesn't do it justice and show the pretty colors of the letters. Unfortunately it's too little for me. But my 16 year old loves it and wears it religiously.

Now we're looking hard for her an Elliott hoodie. Any ideas where to get one?

if there was a way to enlarge and turn this image backwards couldn't you print it on to iron on transfer paper or something and iron it on to a shirt? I don't know but I always thought that was an option..I've been saving this janes addiction shirt in my attic since like 1994 thinking I could do this...but I never tried...just a thought....:-D

That looks really great New Monkey!!! I've made a couple of Elliott shirts for myself and I made one for Anjy when she burnt those Elliott DVDs for me (and everyone else:) ). I've worn mine so much that they are all faded though, plus those transfers fade a lot anyway, but I think it kind of adds to the look, maybe just me.

okay, i'm going home this weekend to pick up some silkscreen supplies. i've never done it by myself (my friend made the screens the couple times we made shirts for our band), but i'm going to give it a whirl. i'm going to use bellefleur's design, but i'm considering my own.

if all goes well, i'll try to make a few for people on the board, but no promises at this point.

i'll let you know!

Thanks. Yeah, I did it on the computer, so it won't last very long (they fade so much when you wash them), but maybe I'll get a few good wears out of it.
The Condor Ave. street sign sounds really neat.

Once again I'll have to go with one word, sharpie. It's genius for making your own shirts, you just have to hand wash it a few times for it to set and voila, new shirt. I have at least 5 sharpie-made shirts including my elliott shirt (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v672/tatena/ess001.jpg) (hope that link works).

I remember you telling me about these!! How did they turn out?

I ordered one that i designed from zazzle a while back, and it was very cracked from the beginning. I didn't care for the quality of it.

How are the ones from cafe press???

I ordered this one from ebay (bidding started at just five dollars, i think I ended up paying like 15 bucks for it total, but I really like the color of the shirt!) The quality was good as well. :)

Actually, it's quite an awesome shirt. I've heard bad things about both Zazzle and Cafepress, but my stuff came out good.
It's on American Apparel too, so even sweeter.... I am, however, gonna tweak it a bit.... The back logo is too low...but.. yeah!

I've done these two designs up. I need to see if the local screen printer I've been talking to will be able to get a shirt that matches the second one, or if they would allow me to buy another shirt for them to print on (the backdrop is from an American Apparel royal blue swatch). I'll definitely be getting the Figure 8 one done this weekend (though I think I may need to tweak the lines a little).
