remember that scene early in the first season when Jobe is being interviewed for a job, and the ask him for his qualifications...and in a plume of smoke he launches a pigeon, and ask "hows that for qualifications?"
utterly amazing, that show.

I've posted this before, but my favorite quotes come from the Best Man for the GOB episode, where GOB throws himself a bachelor party with all the 'hot cops':
Michael, walking into the party:
"I just came by to celebrate my brother's big announcement and spend some time with him, our good friend Ira, and all these... (looks around, confused) ... hot men."
Same scene a few minutes later, Buster jumps into the room with juice streaked all over his face, in the throws of a passionate sugar rush:
Hot Cop:
"Looks like somebody put their lipstick on in the car!"

For some reason I have been able to convert any of my closest friends to the Church of AD. I go around quoting the show all day and they look at me like I'm a freakin' alien.
Or maybe it's just because I LOOK like an alien...
Tobias: (jumping on Gob's back...) "You mean, THIS KIND of agility...?"
GOB: "Let's go little man."

Dear Arrested Development Fans:
Thank you for your e-mail and your passionate support of Arrested Development. While the show has finished production for its second season, contrary to the rumors you may have heard or read on the internet, it is NOT cancelled.
We at FOX love Arrested Development and we look forward to having the Bluth family back on FOX in the future – hopefully for many years. You can help make the show a bigger success by getting as many people as possible to start watching the show this Sunday and every Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Pop Quiz: What was the funniest part of last night's episode? Don't get it wrong, kids!
Answer: That's right, it's when Tobias, as Mrs. Featherbottom, drives on the wrong side of the road and comments about not being used to driving in the colonies.
If you had another answer, your punishment begins with my reign of terror, later this afternoon.

Lucille~My advice? Get one of those teddy bears with the cameras in them. I had one in Buster’s room to make sure he wasn’t getting too serious with anyone. As it turned out, he got too serious with the teddy bear.

Maeby~Do you guys know where I could get one of those gold necklaces with the ‘T’ on it?

it wasn't the best episode ever. I actually fear for where the show is headed, but only slightly. There have been many peaks variously scattered throughout the brief two season run, and thankfully no overall trend has set in, and no suckitude has become evident yet.
They have handled many things I worried about very well so far (Buster's hook-hand), so the show continues to surprise and delight, and as long as there is still at least one full blown oh my god laugh out loud zee exclamation point exclamation point one one one per episode, I know it will be ok.
I'll do some research and get back to you on what the best episode ever is. At some point.

Oh man . . . I don't know if any shirt could convey how funny the show is! Not that that's strictly necessary or anything. :-p
If I had one of Gob, it'd have to be him and Buster posturing with the casket, even though that's not as funny without the music.
They could have one of Tobias/Mrs. Featherbottom holding out a plate with "Banger in the Mouth!" underneath, which would be disturbing and dirty . . .

If we could get Nielsen families to not watch Family Guy or whatever the hell they're replacing A.D. with for sweeps, that would be helpful.

Has reality television a monopoly on the weekdays?
They should make AD TGIF viewing.. Do they still have that? I use to love watching Step by Step with my pop and chips.

I haven't been in here up until now, because I knew there would be talk of season 2 stuff that I haven't seen yet and don't want to spoil it for myself.
BUT I love the bit in that episode in the 1st serries where Barry Zuckerkorn is in the courts bathroom and pulls a Fonzie refrence :spit:

I think the show will be shown again on Nov. 7, and from what I hear it will be a full hour (not one long episode, but two new ones back-to-back)
