Welcome to our message board.

I hope you will find it interesting and fun, the way we want it to be.

Basically everyone will be welcome and well-liked here, and this includes those who want to contribute with some negative criticism about Bright Eyes as well. Non-fans are equally welcome here as hardcore fans, as far as both of them know how to discuss matters in a civil and mature way.

Sneer remarks, unnecessary sarcasm, non-constructive criticism directed towards Bright Eyes or the users on the other hand won't be in any way encouraged and, in certain cases we will have to resort to close threads to smooth things out.

In case this happens, please understand it's in your best interest as users to keep the ambient comfortable.

This is a Bright Eyes forum, and while non-related posts are always welcome, we think that this artist is worthwile enough to deserve some serious discussion about him.

So out of respect for the music, and other users, we ask you to follow the basic rules of being civil, nice and kind to those you're arguing with, if you have to argue.

Thanks for reading, and welcome again.

Chiara

What kind of message board inaugurates itself with a plea to posters not to posts heinously negative comments? Why does an act that promotes so much scorn from music lovers get a board on blamo under elliott smith and quasi?

Why does a band with no obvious *musical* preferences / talent get any notice at all?

*Musical as opposed to Literary - ie BE can wank on all day about the literary side of the act.

Hey mod -you said this kind of thing was allowed , ok?

what kind of poster only posts for the sake of stirring up trouble? one that doesn't really have a life and is too much of a coward to do anything else maybe ?

This doesn't really need to be an open thread. You can ask serious questions somewhere else on the forums. For the rest of you who are there to stir up trouble, this thread is not the best place to do so either.
