Wednesday 2/27/08 at the Rickshaw stop.

well how was it? input on the new songs?

Oh, of course it was awesome. The new songs were really good. I've always kind of grouped the albums together in my mind, not the first one, but at least Birds and Field Studies, then sword of god and hot shit; so I'm thinking the next set are going to fit in well with when the going gets dark, if that makes sense.

I think the new ones all had Sam playing guitar. They played like 3 new ones in a row, in the middle of the set and after that Sam said they would play something the crowd knew next, because we didn't know those yet, but the only way to get to know them was to hear them for the first time. Anyway, it was good. Lots of stuff from when the going gets dark, it all sounded great.
