It's nice. But I think I like that Les Paul better.

I like it better than a Les Paul already because it has that neck-thru design. I don't think Les Paul's are for me though, they are too heavy. And i feel like that weight doesn't create such a drastic difference that it warrants my allegiance. But i think i've decided i'm not really a Fender guy anymore. Some nice guitars, indeed, but i really like mahogany bodies/heavier sounding guitars.

I mostly like gibsons and fenders. Love stratocasters. My dream guitar would be a 1960s gibson non-reverse Firebird. In that seafoam green colour. :D

ew ew ew, tacky gold hardware, tacky inlay and tacky flamed top. oh well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what do i know? after all, my main lust is a fender jaguar in candy apple red:D

100% rosewood

D:

100% rosewood = absolutely no high end.

Heard Hendrix had one of these made back in the day, a Strat, went to pick it up and it sounded terrible, now it just sits in some museum.

yup, he was made a strat, and george harrison was made a tele. he didnt like it because it was too heavy (the naked body weighed 8lbs). fender built him a strat, and built george harrison a tele. george used his tele extensively.

Fuck all you haters. This is probably the best guitar i've ever played.

My next guitar will be a 2000 Olympic White American Strat which I will keep completely stock and play very sparingly. I got a black one but had to route the body to fit some electronics in it so it lost some of its collect ability so I want the white one just to keep. That was the first year for the American Stratocaster with the Delta Tone pick up system. It will have a maple fretboard, of course. I get warm tinglies just thinking about it.

:\ You know, i don't like it when people don't play guitars but just collect them and make them look pretty....

....but then i got this guitar. I knock my strat around a lot and the more fucked up it looks, the better. Yet this new guitar is all shiny and pretty and i try to keep it from getting nicked. It's really stupid and i need to get over it.

Oh well. On another note i'm trying to decide between keeping my Fernandes Vertigo Elite (my model is very rare and worth 1,200$) or switching it to a vintage late 70s Fernandes Explorer that was made in Japan. I'm really torn.
