WOOO I am so there! Do I have to buy a book on the spot or can I just bring any book? I've never been to a book signing. How early should I come?

Hipsters scare the hell outta me. Everytime I go to an event where it's majority hipster, as soon as I walk in, I get the 2-3 second awkward staredown by one and it seems that that person sends out some sort of sonar and then everyone starts to look me up and down one by one. It's scary.

And know what would be funny? You do that and that person next to you also happens to post here. That'd be eerily cool on so many levels.

I don't think it matters where you buy the book from or if you bring your book.

I'll be going to the Portland one. Seeing the larger pictures in the gallery will be cool.

i'll totally go to the portland thing, i will bring my brother's camcorder and record video to put on youtube, y0, for all the non-west coasters. then it will kinda be like walking through it. i'll also take some pretty pictures.

assuming they'd let me do that... do you think that they would let me?

I say we make like a Sweet Addy meetup spot in line and someone bring a guitar and we sing ES songs in a group!
