Whenever something dies, something else always comes along to take it's place. Well, in situations like this, at least. There will always be torrent sites, P2P programs, etc. and there's not a damn thing the RIAA can do about it.
Be patient and something else good will come along.

Great list but some of them are impossible to join- specifically waffles and libble which you didn't mention. In any case none of them seem to do exactly what both demonoid and oink did.

Not surprised.. I kinda thought they would be next once Oink went down.
Who knows, maybe they'll be back at some point in the distant future with new servers. Or not. In either case, there are others.

Demonoid was so big and had so many things that were hard to find elsewhere. Demonoid will hopefully be back, Mininova is a great site for finding torrents, but it also has torrents listed on there that use Demonoid trackers. Pirate Bay is the Biggest tracker and I guess a lot of people will start using there trackers. Its imposible to stop people from sharing things, If torrents die, somebody will invent other ways of sharing.
