This randomly popped into my head the other day. I don't have any of the re-issues, so I can't check.

Are Ginger or Jeff credited on 'Ma Belle', etc?

- If so, I can live with all of the re-issues. They're now officially Pumpkins, why not share the royalties.

- If not, perhaps I'm just stupid.

the theory would be that if, and only if, ginger/jeff were credited on any of the new tracks, the re-issue would be so that they(ginger/jeff) could get a piece of the pumpkin's pie, in royalties. blah, whatever.

they don't even have to be given credit. they could sign a contract that says 'you will get so many points for X songs but no credit will be given'

"Cool as" doesn't look like that though, but basically everyone on Blamo appreciates the pic.

It still says Jimmy on Drums, Billy-everything else. The real reason for re-releasing the album with more tracks was probably to try and boost sales, and also to try to make it up to fans who did not want to buy all those different versions of Zeitgeist just to get one bonus track on each. But it's stupid that it is only at Best Buy. I bought because I am in Chicago now, but other than that, it excludes anyone else outside of the US, unless you get friends to buy it for you and send it to you. Bestbuy.com only ships to the US as far I know. Then again, I guess that scenario would be the best for boosting US record sales, which is the only sales the record company is concerned with because of charting on Billboard. If you can only buy it in the US, and everyone was willing to buy it, then it would theoretically lead to boosted US sales.
