View Full Version : Ma Belle tab/MIDI
jack-o-lantern

I've submitted this in "Ma Belle" thread as well, but this way it won't go unnoticed ;)
You can play it in the tuning indicated in the tab, or in standard with capo on 1st fret, and play each note one fret higher.
(For those who don't have guitar pro 5 I've attached these two images - intro and solo.)

Claire de lune
How high the moon arose
Bare the truth
We quit too soon I thought
We quit too soon I thought
There's no place I'd rather be
There's no face I'd rather see
Just in case you won't receive me
Now there are things a man was born against
Claire de lune, where is that moon I've lost?
How high the moon I sent
There's no place I'd rather be
There's no face I'd rather see
Just in case you won't receive me
Cause you don't believe me
Obey the the thief's relent
:bag:
Ma belle's soul repent
Somehow we'd never met
To make this happen
You must hold your troops alone
To make love happen
The moon must send ya home
There's no place that I'd, I'd rather be
There's no place that I'd, I'd rather be
There's no place that I'd rather be with you, I'd rather be
There's no place, there's no place, that I'd rather be
There's no place that I'd I'd rather be with you

Those were also the old lyrics i submitted but I updated them
Claire de lune
How high the moon arose
Maybe true
We quit too soon I thought
We quit too soon I thought
There's no place I'd rather be
There's no face I'd rather see
Just in case you won't receive me
Now there are things a man is born against
Claire de lune, where is that moon of lust?
How high the moon ascends
Theres no place I'd rather be
There's no face I'd rather see
Just in case you won't receive me
[Ma Belle lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]
Cause you don't believe me
Oh baby please relent
The night sneaks 'round my stealth
Ma belle's soul recast
Somehow we'd never met
To make this happen
You must hold your truce alone
To make love happen
The moon must send ya home
There's no place that I'd, I'd rather be
There's no place that I'd, I'd rather be
There's no place that I'd rather be with you, I'd rather be
There's no place, there's no place, that I'd rather be
There's no place that'd I'd rather be with you
I've decided that this song is a good but not great SP song. Stellar still winz.

I really think this is my favorite song to come out of Zeitgeist. I really can't say enough good things about it, I've practically listened to it nonstop.

I tabbed it. It's an official jack-o-lantern tab :) - I used Guitar pro 5, which also exports the midi attached. For guitar pro 5 go to google and write in "guitar pro 5 torrent" in the search box (choose the one that says cracked or +keygen). In the program you write a tab and the notes appear automatically above it (or write the notes, and the tab appears, but I don't know how to read nor write notes) When you're done you can export to .bmp, .wav, midi, pdf. etc. (the same software is used for official tab books - in attachment is the official tab for a Muse song)
P.S. I'll check out your tab and let you know of my humble opinion of it.
Hey there, I tried locating tabs section on sp.com, but had no luck, link?

Stellar still winz.
As much as I try, I just can't feel the love for this one.

If you're up for it...we can do official Zeitgeist (or whatever album that wasn't officially tabbed) "White spyder and Jack-o-lantern (and whoever wants to take part) tabs" in guitar pro 5

Does anyone else find it kind of endearing when Billy's voice cracks a bit on the second line?
The verses are really elegant, and I love how it comes in heavy toward the end, but the choruses just don't do it for me. I think the layered vocals are too high in the mix, and there seems to be somewhat of a discordance when it first comes in.
