anyone have sam's message after elliott's death?

sam wrote a little paragraph after elliott died, something along the lines of it confirmed his desire to hold on to life and love. anybody have that & can you post it?

i don't have it - i only recall parts of it. he mentioned how elliott was like a brother to him, meaning that they were the best of friends at times but also disagreed with each other as well. sam said something about how this confirms his feelings on never "giving up" on life.

well the quote seems to be lost foreverz but it was something along the lines of he had been on tour in Europe and did not hear of Elliott's death right away. when they were in heatmiser elliott told him they were 'like brothers' in many ways. he did not comment a lot on elliott's later years, but said elliott's death confirmed to him something he had thought about a lot and that was the importance of finding ~ and holding on to ~ life and love.

oh, i wish wish wish i could read it. I love you for telling as much as you remember, but i can't really put it somewhere as a quote in my journal or something :) i always wondered what sam thought.... it doesn't seem like he had much contact in later years (not that a lot of people did); I can only imagine how he felt, and neil as well.
