I believe the rice is supposed to be the hardest part but I've never made it.
My favorite fishies are yellow tail, white tuna, and escolar which is a lot like white tuna.

^ oh jah, fish.
Dragon rolls are (/were :( )really good, too. And SPIDER ROLLS! Tiny soft shell crab breaded and fried tempura style, OMG! So good!
Sushi is probably the only thing that makes me regret being vegetarian. But avocado, eggplant, and sweet egg make up for it pretty well.

Try the eel, spicy & dragon rolls.
The sushi we have around here, give us this very thick and delicious soy sauce.
I asked them for the name, but they said it was just regular soy sauce. Liars!
Edit: It's called eel sauce. Try it when you get a chance.

I can't even have the sweet egg now that I'm vegan. I'm only keeping it up until december or so though, probably.
Inari sushi

yeah - getting the rice perfect is proving to be the hardest part... and i'll have to work on the aesthetics - i'll give the egg plant and avacado a go... cheers.

i'm not that keen on wasabi. the fish always seems really dried out and so does the seaweed. but it's miles better than pret sushi or any of the supermarket crap.

ah! that's okay then! i bet it's really really yummy. oh god, i want sushi now. lots and lots and lots of sushi.
i feel bad that I  sushi so much because it's killing off species but i'm addicted. Me and Hayden Panettiere have an agreement - I eat sushi, she saves marine life and the world and incurs the wrath of japanese fishermen.
I saw this New Zealand documentary on wasabi - the organic stuff isn't green, apparently it's food coloring or whatever :O

no, organic wasabi is kinda greeny/grey mud coloured.
i'm with you on the deal with hayden panettiere. actually, i'm not too fussed as i'm a bit of a picky sushi eater and have only been eating salmon sushi recently. yum.
yum.

if i could eat sushi everyday, i would.
there's this awesome sushi bar in nashville called "samurai sushi" and one of there rolls is called the choo choo roll.
it's huge. i forgot what exactly it had in it, but it had at least 2 kinds of fish, rice, seaweed, some random topping on it, and it was topped off by.....guess....
strawberries.
yes i know, weird, but hear me out.
IT WAS DELICIOUS. it's one of those rolls that goes perfectly with wasabi.
i don't know, i'm a wasabi addict, but the sweet and spice mix was superb.

damnit now i want sushi. every time i talk about sushi, i crave it like peggy bundy craves bon bons.
strawberries.
IT WAS DELICIOUS
that sounds intriguing actually and i'd def. try it
i've been craving them for so long - the grocer's been inundated by dubious-origin pesticide-addled strawberries since february and i've resisted impulse buying them so far :\
there is a place near work that has happy hour 4-7 on sushi and drinks. it is good.

Is that the place by the Exit/In? If I remember correctly it actually was really good, which is surprising...
Anyway, here there's this really great sushi place that also happens to be connected to a karaoke bar. And in the restaurant they have a screen showing the drunk performers making asses out of themselves for your dining pleasure. They'll also bring your order to the karaoke bar if you prefer to sit there and watch it in person (but personally, I like watching something happening like 20 ft away from me on TV. I think it's so... American).
And the sushi's really great, too (at least the veggie rolls, as I didn't find it in time for meat-eating).

Actually, my mum and sister went (thanks for not inviting me FAMILY) not long after posting here and they have up the quadruple thumbs up. I still haven't had the chance to go though.
