Note: ellipses are usually marked as '...'

In regards to the content of your post: it has a spontaneous feel to it, which is refreshing, but its breeziness makes for a lack of gravitas. The absence of capital letters has a very e.e. cummings feel to it.

As to your choice of songage: one of them does actually get old after a while. I'll let you figure out which one. The other, however, is timelessly beautiful and beautifully timeless.

That's all the input for now...will advise.

and why make a thread if you don't want any input on it?

Of course, input is well deserved since i totally agree with you, and suggest that I Didn't Understand and Waltz #1 be added to the aforementioned list

I'd like to have seen "Independance Day" get some more work put into it. I'm not a fan of the drum loop.

I think we've just all just seen these threads about a million times now, and we're all tired of saying "well yeah, it's Elliott". All in good fun though!

i wish i'd never found out that independence day had a drum loop.
it's about all i focus on when i listen to it now, with the backing vocals stealing some occasional attention.

I hate when that happens after years of liking a song, one day, u just happen to listen to it, and you listen deeper than before and hear something more. Then you are all "ahhh noooo" and the song seems ruined. Happened to me with quite a few songs :(

yeah, in a few places on XO the backing vocals are way too high in the mix. It always annoys me.

Generally... everyone should accept that Waltz #1 is possibly the best song ever written... it's gorgeous. Really underrated. Mmm.

Well I heard music was about a 6.8, so that's what I'm going to believe.
