cop and speeder and dead air both have their plus's. dead air is just a straight record of fuckin' teenage angst rock, and it kicks ass.

cop and speeder is what separated heatmiser (specifically elliott) from being another low-class grunge act that got slight success. its during that time that he started understanding how he wanted to do things, and its starting to show in the song (antonio carlos jobim, etc.)
