I don't even know what that is, but while we're talking about thai food...

I was totally thinking that
but then again, speggy, in it's own way, looks like stringy barf.

It does in person, and especially once it's been mixed. It's all the whole chickpeas, I think - they resemble so closely the anonymous whitish-yellowish chunks that appear in one's typical puke-mass.
Kushari also makes things interesting, gastrointestinally, for many hours after consumption.

Peanut butter is amazing. Especially the kind where the oil separates... I love the oil. I put oily peanut butter on cereal. Seriously. SO. GOOD.
btw, in case anyone's interested in a delicious food that I guess actually looks kinda barf-esque... Peanut-buttery kids cereal of some sort topped with peanut butter, ice cream (esp. peanut butter flavored or cookie dough ice cream), chocolate syrup and/or chips, with chocolate milk (or chocolate soymilk). I know it sounds like a diabetic coma in each bite, but seriously... it's amazing. Try it.

hehe, sounds like anaphylactic shock in each bite to me! I'm allergic to peanuts.

Has anyone mentioned haggis yet? The kind I had was pretty good, but what an unappealing color/texture/appearance. Holy crap.

Ugh. I tried haggis once and couldn't handle it. The smell, the texture, the taste-it all just got to me and after one bite...never again.
On the other hand, my dad got my brother to eat it all up because he told him (at 6 years old) that it was just like sloppy joes.
