It's considered cheese in America. I mean, it's a lot better than say, Velveeta or cheese in a can.

ok SOMEONE please tell me what the deal is with heirloom tomatoes. they look gross but they're always used in gourmet situations.
From The Food Lovers Companion:
"The advent of megaagriculture in America has seen the gradual depletion of ancient varieties of native nonhybrid plants. Unfortunately for those who appreciate full-flavored fruits and vegetables, produce-seed conglomerates focus only on those strains that have mass-market appeal - which means they're beautiful and hardy, but not necessarily the best-tasting. Fortunately, about 25 years ago some dedicated individuals began saving what they could of the remaining open-pollinated (without human intervention) seed varities, which have become known as "heirloom seeds." Among the many heirloom fruits and vegetables grown today are beets, carrots, corn, dried beans, lettuce, potatoes and tomatos. As the public becomes more aware of these wonderful alternatives, farmers are also becoming more interested. Heirloom products can be found in some specialty produce markets and farmer's markets."
so, basically, will, an heirloom tomato is one that is native and openly polinated. Further information on the interwebs states that it's common for the seeds of these plants to be handed down from generation to generation so that the seeds are never lost.
neverlost! itza sine!

And i am such an unpicky eater, but the only thing i can think of that i am picky about is that i don't like to experiment with meat, i.e. eat rabbit, ostrich etc. But everything else i will at least give a try and is good to go - in my stomach.

That's an awful lot of pages. I think I read enough to get a good idea of what happened in my recent hiatus. So the same thread where I decided Danny had jumped the shark and blocked him is the thread that got banned.
he's holding onto it just as much as you guys are! you're all being rediculous! you laugh at him for getting bored at work and messing around with you guys, but you go there while at work just to see if he's messed around with you guys! you might as well admit you like it. I mean you've already admitted that the boards are dull without him. this is your one piece of consistent entertainment!
Fucking around on his wiki page seems obsessive on both ends. I'm surprised all his "haters" are are getting such a thrill from it.
You all still can't ignore him even though he is gone. Weirdos.
I think you miss him.
It's like having to babysit your grandma's obnoxious terrier. He thinks he's tough shit and he demonstrates it by barking constantly, biting strangers and often family members, and destroying furniture. Also the dog has bad gas. Putting him out of the house is just an all around good idea, but tying him up in the back yard means we can still throw rocks at him without dealing with his (literal) shit.

There's no honor in taunting a restrained, tied up opponent.

Psh... I had plenty of "honorable" debates/fights with Danny, and while I took some satisfaction in being able to outmaneuver him and force him to resort to angry denial, I didn't want to have to do it over and over again. To return to my terrier metaphor, I really haven't been tormenting the critter in the back yard. I've been ignoring him. I'm more interested in this thread where even the people who usually kept quiet about Danny are finally expressing their disgust.

Enjoy your obsession! I do! :D
Need it perhaps?
Move on, Danny. Don't mistake the outpouring of criticism for a desire to see your return. You could find a new life for yourself posting at Netphoria and constantly dishing on those fools at Blamo.

Why does he keep coming back, just to insist that he's not obsessed?
Talk about contradicting yourself.

Why did I read through this entire thread? Now I really want you guys to cook me delicious grilled cheese sandwiches with special cheeses :(
I could really go for some feta on toast right now

Hey Dillon :)
I make a great grilled cheese sandwich...maybe you will get lucky and I will make you one, one day :oh:

I'll be over in a bit! If I really did show up tomorrow begging for a sandwich, I think you'd be obligated to make one for me. The cost of the plane tickets would make for one expensive GC, so I'd be expecting something special.

I would probably have a stroke if someone was knocking at my door, I go to open it, and see you standing there!
Of course I would let you in and make you your grilled sandwich. I would push the boat out and make a side salad with it, and make you a hot drink. I'm kind like that.

of course not. I'm being inclusive in my assumption (if you want to call it that), you're being exclusive (without much support, mind you). narrow implies exclusive.
that's diculous again. What if the category you're "including" in is itself narrower than "everything else"?
