I've looked everywhere for this information, but haven't found anything about it, so I'm asking here in hopes that someone can help me out.

Does anyone know who is opening for SP at the Fillmore tomorrow (Tuesday)? I know Fair to Midland opened a couple shows, but according to their myspace page, they aren't on for tomorrow.

Thanks in advance to anyone with an answer.

Does anyone really care?

No offense to the opening bands... but it's the Pumpkins' reunion. The general vibe was *cordial*, but with an underlying "OK, your set's done... now get the fuck off stage and let the Pumpkins come on". Not saying that's right, and the bands may very well be good, but... With all due respect, WHO THE FUCK CARES?

:)

Idiot Pilot is opening for them on the 24th. They're from Bellingham, Washington and got signed to Warner Bros. when they were in high school. They're really fucking cool and you should check out their myspace (they are also on the transformers soundtrack)

I, for one, like to see what an opening band has to offer. In fact, I have "discovered" many of my current favorite bands -- Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Sonic Youth -- by way of seeing them open for somebody else.

I suppose I like to approach any show with an open mind, and I like to suck as much music out of any given night as I possibly can. Of course I would rather have the Pumpkins add an extra 45 minutes to their set rather than watch an opening band, but that's not what's going to happen, so why not (hopefully) enjoy the opener rather than be a bitch about them being on?

In other words, some people give a fuck.

Peter, thanks for the info! I'll definitely check them out. :)
