How's this for bad luck (radio contest)

So this really bad radio station down here in south florida was having this contest. Everyday at 6 they had a 'Smashing Pumpkins Song Of The Day,' and every day caller 15 got a copy of the new album. They did this for the past two weeks. Today after they gave away the album when they said it, caller 15 had to name all ten songs for the past two weeks and they would get a roundtrip ticket to see SP at Red Rocks. So I was fuckin ready today, the whole day was building for it and I had my cell, work phone, fax phone, and a co-worker helping with her phone trying to get through. Got caller 5. Caller 6. Caller 9. Caller...14. FUCK! Heartbroken I was, so close yet so far :( So I went and got a drink, went back to the office, sat down, checked my mail, and got 93rock mail....and there it was...big concert announcement...SP in south florida VERY soon. Made me smile after my trying for those tix in Colorado.

well i'll be at red rocks.
but i also live here.
but as of yet i don't have anyone to go with me (i got two tix).
so, you know, keep your eyes open kiddies, in the case i don't make any friends who like the pumpkins in the next two months.

That sort of happened to me, when I did Live 105.3's contest and wound up being caller #7 (you had to be 10/11/12).
