I've got this huge ass mp3 on my computer. In it's .rar there was also a cue file with it. Is there any programs out there that can cut the mp3 to te tracks specified by the .cue?

If that makes sense.

thanx

I had a quick look around, and apparently Nero can do it, or there is a program called Burrrn (http://www.burrrn.net/?page_id=4) that should do it for free. I didn't try it out yet though, sorry!

I don't think that's quite what I'm looking for. I was a little bit vague in what I was asking. I need something that can cut an mp3 to smaller mp3 according to the .cue file, so I can put in say, an mp3 player, instead of burning it to a CD.

But thank you for looking though, I do appreciate.

You could burn it to a cd and then rip the cd into mp3 files lol

Or mount it with daemontools!

I don't even think a cue file does that.

A cue file normally just tells the program how an CD/DVD image file is to be burned so you can make an exact copy. Even then cue files are normally just plain text inside, maybe you could open it with notepad and check it out.

Or maybe you could just download Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) and use that to chop it up. You should be able to see where the silent parts between tracks are on the waveform, so it probably wouldn't take too long....
