My mum's boss won a Playstation3 for some internal sales competition thing at her company and decided to give it to my mum as he's not a gamer and she is helpful n shit. We get it next week! And I'm gonna be buying a HD ready telly next payday!Life is sweet.

Yeah it will be worth it then. You could always sell it now and make some money and then buy one when it is cheap and has decent games. Mind you, selling it would be rather insulting to your mum who got it for you.

edit: the RRP is £50 , but dont pay more than £40. Play.com for example never charge more than that for brand new games, delivery is super-fast and they dont charge postage. Save yourself the tenner.

ha ha no I don't think I'll be allowed to sell it, wouldnt want to anyway. you've probably read up on it...will it play import BluRay DVD's, if there is such a thing out there???

Fras, I recommend you get a 160gb laptop HD for it. You can get one off ebay for 70 quid or something. Well worth it if you're storing vids and shit on the PS3.

Get Virtua Fighter 4... just because it's the only game that makes me wish I had a PS3.

I will browse for that, but am going to be skint for a good month so could only ogle.

I havent experienced one first hand, but as far as I am aware, it is all region free and so yeah, you should be able to play imported BluRays. Even if not, I'm sure you can get round it easy enough. I have the disc for the PS2 which allows me to play any region DVDs.

You might be joking, but I meant a hard drive. The PS3 comes with a 60gb or something. A 100gb increase could be very useful.
