Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

I've read SOOOO many reviews of how this game is really frickin' sweet, but I just can't get into it. I mean, the gameplay is pretty cool, but my characters keep dying. This wouldn't be such a big deal if I could raise them, but they're dead dead once they die. Does anyone have any tips? Or did everyone else get as pissed off as I did? I mean, my healer and my magic user (forget their names) just kept dying off because they have lower HP and defense.

Same problem here...the magic and healer users died on me pretty early in the game and I found it impossible to finish it.
Was there a easy setting in the game? I can't remember...but that would be my tip.

I haven't played this game, but if it is anything like the others:
Just keep them out of harms way. I think I only lost one character through the whole of the GBA game and it was the stupid flying knight, so I didn't give a shit.
Protect them with your stronger characters and make sure no one can shoot at them. You shouldn't need to heal your dudes much anyway.

i think that the ai is different in this one then because all the enemies did was go after the weaker (in def and hp) characters. i tried to protect them but the enemies would go all the way around other characters just to get to them. it was annoying. oh well, maybe i'll try the game again and take elef's advice :yar:
