Fight Night 3 (is it 3?) for PS3

I was playing it at my bro's today, ace game. EA finally gets something right. I played as De La Hoya of course. Anyone else played it?

I have it on the Xbox. It's okay. I think I need to configure the buttons differently to enjoy it more.

Yeah, I played the x360 version a more than a year ago. It has a steeper learning curve than a standard fighting game, but I really loved how fluid the controls were, even though I still couldn't use them very well. I remember my friend who owned the game getting in a 15 minute fight with a guy online and coming back from a huge deficit while shit-talking the entire time and getting his opponent so pissed off that he started to make mistakes. Also the visuals were amazing. I've read that the PS3 version actually looks worse than the x360 version that was released a year prior. What the hell, Sony?

Can't comment on the graphics, don't play console games for gfx. Shame it isn't out for PC, although I'd have to get a joypad to enjoy the control system.

I think the spit gobbits are totally overdone and it is way too easy to get knockdowns (especially w/ bodyshots) still a fun game though.

Keep in mind they're kind of minor. I like the 360 no matter what, just because it's the easiest to fuck with as an entertainment center.

You can't really judge images when they're compressed to youtube quality. Also the comparison of the consoles' skins was rather ridiculous, since most of those were custom jobs. If you really want comparisons, you need to google for an article or three. I've seen all of those same screens in much higher resolution in articles before. Add the misguided song selection to the pile, and you've got a stinker utube.

I agree with the blood/spit spurts, it's a bit annoying. But still, a fun game at the least, I wish I could get more of the sucker punches to land or 'special moves' I guess. Nothing like taking down an opponet with a knee to the groin.

Anyway, did ya'll Mayweather/De La Hoya Saturday?
