The "Mangle it, Strangle" it approach to guitar

Sam kills it on Git...Him, Richard Thompson, John Frusciante...they all have that nice..."what note's he gonna play next"? approach type feel to their styles...more is needed in that dept....in Rock and Roll....

i understand what youre saying man, its pretty captivating, and really has a big creative output when a guitarist does something like that. the thing about quasi that strikes me is just the tight-ness and the energy, going along with the honest-as-fuck lyrics, which i cant get enough of. they really have something awesome going for them, i hope they continue for a while
