Breakfast, lunch or dinner?
I used to never eat breakfast but these days I can't go without. Plain yogurt with dried apricots and cashews at the mo. Sometimes pumpkinseed/oat Ryvita or an oatcake supplement with jam and, if I'm feeling frisky, cream cheese.
Usually I opt out of lunch as I'm content from breakfast and go for the filling dinner.
It's hard to say, but, I think I'd call breakfast my fav.
PS - do you call the third meal of the day dinner or supper?

I call them...breakfast, lunch, dinner...
But it changes it different parts of the country...some people call lunch 'dinner', and call dinner 'tea'...but they're just wrong!
I think breakfast is my favourite, especially if you have time to prepare and eat are really good one. It makes me feel good, and sets me up well for the rest of the day.
Even if I am in a rush, I try and have something in the morning as it helps me function, and I barely function in the mornings, so anything to help...

Lunch, but mostly for practical reasons. Usually breakfast foods are so fucking carby...and I'm too insulin resistant in the morning to really enjoy anything like a muffin, etc. Cereal just barely passes. Sometimes I have too high of a blood sugar level to eat anything w/ carbs in the morning. I'm not really a sausage and eggs kind of girl so I'd rather just go without. Dinner is usually too full of fat or just tricksy in general. So I'm gonna go with lunch. I eat a reasonable amount and there's plenty of time left in the day that I can indulge a little or have some variety & not have to worry about the aftermath, plus my insulin resistance is really low so I have more freedom there also.

Lunch, cause that's when the dining hall has the best selection. It's also my first meal of the day so I usually like it.

people that don't eat breakfast annoy me, sorry cheryl. it's the most important meal of the day, but I can't say I enjoy it the most as I always feel like shit in the morning.
As I am in quite a fat stage at the moment I'd say my favourite meal was elevenses. which i suppose you call brunch in america.
i don't eat brunch/elevenses.
since i love to eat, my favourite meal is whenever i have time to sit down and eat and enjoy the food. which means dinner/supper on weekdays, and probably any meal on the weekend (depending on how busy the day is).
i particularly like a cooked breakfast on the weekend, so much so in fact that sometimes i'll have one for dinner on a weekday.

Dinner! Most of my favourite meals are associated more with dinner than lunch or breakfast. Plus, once in a while, I'll have something breakfasty for dinner, like pancakes or waffles, or something more for lunch like grilled cheese and soup, etc.
Also, I use the words "dinner" and "supper" interchangeably.

Actually, no.
In proper English custom, it is breakfast, lunch and tea. Dinner is interchangable. It is a title given to the biggest meal of the day. Usually tea, but often lunch. Dinner is traditionally at lunchtime on Sundays for example.

i call them breakfast lunch and dinner. bo-ring.
and my favorite meal of the day is whichever i have the most time to sit down and cook. a home cooked meal is my favorite no matter what time of day or what it is. i guess i just think i'm a really good cook. haha.
i'm a little annoyed at breakfast today though; my raisin ran out before my bran. :(

lunch because I make bentos!
Or if I'm going out, dinner. My mom's fiance makes the same damn thing for dinner every night and it's SO BORING.

I make the same big breakfast every day I work. I tend to see meals as something to get out the way so you can do other stuff.

when my grammy used to watch my brother and i for the evening we wouldn't let her fix anything besides pancakes with a side of instant mashed potatoes for dinner. haha. ew.
i keenly wished i liked eggs. i feel especially like i'm missing out when it comes to omelettes.

I had a cheese /bacon /macaroni fratata (spelling) last night. I think my mum was just trying to get rid of some bacon and macaroni but it wasnt too bad! the cheddar was a bit too mature for my taste though.

My mother made a fritata last week. It was lovely. Bacon, emmental, peppers. It hit the spot hot or cold.

Eggs, beans and chips (fries) is a brilliant simple tea.

Indeed. Or any variant. I usually have new potatoes instead of chips. I also tend to leave out the egg these days since i usually have one for my breakfast.

A feast could lead to indigestion, something I am lucky enough never to have experienced.
A usual late night snack for me is a filled toasted pitta.

I'm sure you have had indigestion at some point. You've probably just been positive and associated it with "being full" before - have you never had mad farts after a curry? It doesn't have to be cramps et al.

Oh yeah, never had the burn though. I fart less nowadays than ever. Only really if I need a shit.

It's ok. I would eat breakfast, but I'm usually a little queasy in the morning. I eat lunch at 11 though, which I'm sure for lots of people is a normal time for breakfast.

eating a breakfast, containing protein, is truly essential to weight control. it's called breakfast for a reason- your body is fasting, it hasn't eaten in usually 8ish hours, so it's in a conservation (starvation) mode- conservation of fat and calories. you need to feed it some fuel to stoke the fire, so to speak. the longer you go without eating in the morning the more time you're wasting not burning calories efficiently. it doesn't take much- just shove down a low sugar, high protein bar pretty soon after getting up, like a luna, south beach, cliff mojo (new personal fave), balance, low sugar powerbar, etc... of if you're a freak and have time for a "real" breakfast, an egg or two, oatmeal with milk, cottage cheese disguised to not be disgusting, something with peanut butter, etc.
this message was brought to you by someone who obsesses way too much over food. ":D"
i usually eat some small form of breakfast between 7:30-8:30am and have lunch around 11:30-12:30. my breakfast is usually soy milk with cereal.

I rarely, rarely miss breakfast, and I always have a protein. On the days I skip breakfast I almost always binge in the evenings.
This morning I made my first poached egg and I was proud of myself. I had it on a whole wheat slice of toast with a big mug of tea. Mm hmm.
