Lotus Budd seems like the kind of person who is very, very accustomed to socializing and communicating on the internet. I realize that description could apply to any one of us, but for her, that is the first impression that comes to my mind. I think it's because she reminds me of a girl I know who spent her high school life living in her LiveJournal and on various message boards... except my friend wasn't an exhibitionist. Still, Budd has a unique voice and that counts for a lot online. Some of the weird things she's said wouldn't seem nearly as strange if they were posted by one of the regulars. It's just unusual that she seems to have forgone the awkward, shy newbie phase and gone straight into being herself.
