I had a good look into doing it. I don't think the blamo wiki has the Parser Functions extension installed/enabled. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/ParserFunctions

A lot of the templates on Wikipedia use these.

I have already created versions of the loop, !, spaces and smallsup templates that are in turn used by the football player template. If we do get this extension installed then i can make the football player template work.

I dunno what templates the cycling one uses but hopefully it's nothing too complicated.

There seems to be a problem with one of the CSS style sheets (Common.css) http://www.blamonet.com/wiki/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Common.css&action=raw&ctype=text/css&smaxage=18000

This has the infobox styles used in many HTML table-based templates. (Compare to wikipedia's http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Common.css&usemsgcache=yes&action=raw&ctype=text/css&smaxage=2678400)

Also, looks like we're using v1.6 of the ParserFunctions which is different to what wikipedia uses. The function syntax is different and v1.6 is missing the #if function, but there's a couple of quick fixes listed on here: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/ParserFunctions#1.6. It'd be cool if it were the same cos it'd be a lot easier to use templates from wikipedia if we had the same syntax for functions, otherwise someone has to manually change template code. (And of course if we ever upgrade it'd be easier.)

The function syntax is different and v1.6 is missing the #if function, but there's a couple of quick fixes listed on here: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/ParserFunctions#1.6. It'd be cool if it were the same cos it'd be a lot easier to use templates from wikipedia if we had the same syntax for functions, otherwise someone has to manually change template code. (And of course if we ever upgrade it'd be easier.)
