Movie Review by
An incredibly strange and unique underground low-budget punk rock semi-animated docu-comedy about tying beautiful inter-racial punk rock chicks up and turning them into heavy metal zombies. Apparently all these people are playing themselves, and we get to meet local New York City musicians such as Bex Schwartz from VH1, Lani Ford from NYC's local FOX TV affiliate, Peelander Z from Spike TV, and plenty of lesser known but no less interesting underground artists. Even the show promoters appear as themselves. You get to go backstage and downstairs at rock clubs and home with the hot female performers. Lots of bondage, anti-Bush rhetoric, and cursing, but other than that it's basically a PG-13 film. Some of the best songs have titles I can't even reprint here. The whole thing looks like it had the budget of the "Blair Witch Project," but how many underground movies do you know that have animated villains that speak their own "fart" language which requires subtitles to translate it? Yeah, I can't think of any, either. The movie seems to be available only from the director's web site as far as I can tell: peterbernard.com.
