Naturally being a single "Zero" (from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness) is the best song on this single. Although a lot of the other six songs on this single are very impressive for b-sides . "God", "Marquis in Spades" and "Pennies" have potential to be album quality songs, and is alone worth for getting the single. It's amazing when The Smashing Pumpkins release quality seven songs on a single, when most bands can't get seven good songs on an album. This just proves the raw talent that was possessed by the band. I think the only draw back from this single is the fact that “Pastichio Medley” was added; this is a horrible 23 minute long cut of a bunch of songs and makes absolutely no sense. Overall I would recommend this single over some full length albums.

I love The Aeroplane Flies High box set. All the CD's in the set are good and it's a shame that the band could only fit 26 songs on Mellon Collie because nearly all of their b-sides on the CD's are album worthy. Out of all the CD's in the set, Zero is a CD that shows that the Smashing Pumpkins can more than just mellow acoustic songs. This CD is more of a grunge/metal CD than the others.

Zero is the first track on the CD (for obvious reasons). Personally, I don't think Zero is the best song the band has put out, but it is pretty good and it shows the darker side of the pumpkins. The song "God" is one of my favorites on the album.

A lot of people bad mouth "Pastichio Medley" but I think it's pretty cool. It's not a song, but a compilation of dozens of riffs and other little parts that never became parts of a song. I think it gives people a really good idea of how much music the Pumpkins really make. Another cool thing about it is to think about all those riffs and all the song possiblities that could have come out of them.

Overall this is a pretty good CD. It's not the Pumpkin's best work, but I recommend picking up the box set or at least buying this CD. If your into the Pumpkins, or just like hard-rock music, then this is a CD you will probably like.

The third single off "Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness," and definitely my least favourite. The only good songs are "Zero" and "Pennies." Other than that, all the songs are throwaways, by me. This is not worth picking up. Just download "Pennies" off the net and get "Mellon Collie," which contains 26 great songs.

Hey, this is my favourite album. What a pity that it's just in set available. Patichio is one of my favourite song, and it is a song,
and it has a cool thing it's not like the others, it has it variety, and you can't imagine how complex could be this mix. It has power, and spirit like Bodies, but it has much more opportunity to do so.
