| Better than Ezra are one of those bands that don't try to be anyone but themselves, and have a very loyal and devout following. At a time in Music where louder and grungier seemed better, Better than Ezra released "Deluxe", their debut album filled with melody, vocal harmonies, and more than just root not bass playing. Their sound was bold because it was widely accepted among those who were sick of the louder is better club and was just looking for some good songs written by simple, normal people who didn't go out of their way to seem different or original. Deluxe is good music, and as it is 10 year old, it is one of those albums that stands the test of time, as it always seems new. Reviewer Rating of CD : ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | |
