| Missy Higgins is a young (21 at the time of this review) upcoming star from Australia, her album has been #1 for a while I hear. She writes all her own music and lyrics. Also she knows how to play guitar and piano pretty well.
Her album The Sound of White is very mellow and melodic. All For Believing opens with a drone from Higgins and while accompanied with a piano. It is a very beautiful song. Ten Days she sings has most of a country feel to it, she is accompanied by a piano, acoustic guitar, and drums. Scar is the song that has got a lot of airplay, seems pretty catchy, definitely a good little tune. Do not ever, is a very quiet song and it pulls on your heart strings a bit, very good, it shows she has got a lot of songwriting talent. Unbroken, definitely sounds like another single, very catchy and well written, once again has a little country sound to it. Overall this is quite an amazing find, I have a feeling once she is heard a bit more in America she will hit it big here too. Reviewer Rating of CD : ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | |
