The Unforgettable Fire is my least favorite album by U2. Frankly, if it weren't for "Pride (in the name of love)", I wouldn't have owned it at all. The Transition between War and The Joshua Tree is what caused this dismissible interlude between the two phoenix albums of U2's early career. The unforgettable fire just sounds clumsy, exhausting, and lazy. It is, in my opinion, a very disappointing album and one not really worth going out and buying. This unforgettable fire is completely forgettable!

Reviewer Rating of CD :

The Unforgettable Fire is an amazing album, and definitely one of U2's best.

The passion in Bono's voice is evident here more than it had been ever before. Tracks like "Pride (In the Name of Love)" and "Bad" are some of the greatest songs of the 1980s.
