"Feeling Strangeley Fine". This phrase is enough to force me to go get this album off the dresser and start listening. Its that Addictive. Who knew three guys from Minneapolis could produce my favorite album of all time?

This Album is so very mellow, upbeat, and emotional all at the same time. its contained two hits. I'm sure all of you have heard of thier American hit "closing Time", but they also struck big with "secret smile" in the U.K. Allthough these are not my favorite songs of the album they are very good, just like every other song on the album. I take that back, they are good just like every song semisonic has ever wrote. My personal favorites of the album include "never you mind", "DND", "This will be my year", and the most emotional, "Gone to the Movies", but I very much enjoy EVERY song on this CD. This Albums lyrical stings are guaranteed to have you singing along. Such as "I can Hear you Singing to me in my sleep" (singin in my sleep) or "Open the blinds and the world is in rotation, shakin' my mind like an etchasketch erasin" (Never you Mind) or "Thursday's Crush is a Friday Night Rush and a Monday Morning Cry" (this will be My Year) and many others. So what I am trying to say is, If you do not own this album I suggest you get your ass on E-bay, or wherever the hell you can find it and buy a copy. And my Thanks to Dan(vocals)Jacob(Drums)and John(Bass).
