| As if Under the Table & Dreaming wasn't bad enough, Dave Matthews Band returned in 1996 with Crash.
And what an appropriate name for the album, because when I hear the album it makes me want to crash my car into a brick wall... on purpose. It's nothing more than shitty pseudojazz set to boring acoustic guitar work and lyrics that sound like a gay Mongoloid on crack wrote. And why would anyone need to actually buy this album? Just go to a local college campus and you're guaranteed to hear at least 30 frosted tip, Abercrombie & Fitch wearing fratboys strumming "Tripping Billies" or "Crash Into Me" on their acoustic guitars in front of the student union building trying to get pussy from every girl in sight. In other words, don't buy this album. The other guys in your dorm might pressure you, or even give you a copy for Christmas. If this happens I recommend microwaving the CD. The resulting lightning show is promised to please. Reviewer Rating of CD : ![]() | |
