Maybe I'm biased because I just saw these guys in concert the other night, but Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (B.R.M.C.) are one of the hottest bands in rock music today.

Taking influence from great bands like The Jesus & Mary Chain and The Velvet Underground, B.R.M.C. bring the old and mix it in with the new.

Their debut album, titled B.R.M.C., is proof of that. With songs like "Red Eyes and Tears" and "As Sure As the Sun", the band brings a well produced darkness that will have you addicted at first crunching bass line.

Other highlights on the album include "Love Burns", "Too Real", and "Head Up High".

Pick up this album. It takes the reigns well from innovative bands of the past and carries it on proudly.

And if you get a chance to see this band in concert, take it.

Reviewer Rating of CD :

have you ever been dullsvillecityland? i have. it's called this album. the very name of this band brings to mind complete annoyance on my part. these well off, middle class morons aren't black, rebels, motorcycles, or even clubs! even though seeing pictures of them makes me want to find a bunch of black rebels on motorcycles, give them clubs, and show this dumb ass band what a real black rebel motorcycle club is! mixing old with the old and making the same mix of dull samesoundingnonsense as all of the rest of the nu-rock bands makes BRMC a drag (PUN INTENDED) to listen to. a one for no reason at all.
