| Korn's first of as of now, five albums, and by many, their best. It's heavy, it's energetic, it's full of emotion... and they wrote this album before the record company was insisting for them to write more radio-friendly songs. It's a masterpiece if you are a metal fan, and it's a must buy for a Korn fan. "Korn" also happens to have my all-time favourite song by them, "Helmet In The Bush." The standout songs on the album are:
01. Blind 03. Need To 07. Shoots And Ladders 08. Predictable 11. Helmet In The Bush 12. Daddy "Daddy" is nothing but classic Kornography. It's heartfelt ending is brilliant, and no matter how long Johnathan Davis cries, every second makes the song itself better. In this song, you truly can feel just how much pain he was feeling at that point in his life. The only problem with the song is the fact that six years later he put out a song called, "Hey Daddy," which is a total joke song, making "Daddy" seem less real. | although i'm not crazy about the band, their detuned 7 string nuttiness is quite er revolutionary on this album. plus they use bag pipes! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! not many meddle (by pink floyd) bands do that, but this is one meddle (by pink floyd) band that does! plus johnathon davis can sing really nutso like and he has these boo hoo lyrics that make you punch your fist against the wall and swear at your mom about the stoooopid haircut she got you. perfect for dorky angsty teens please drop this from your act when you turn 20.
the songs are as catchy as something that's not very catchy at all but that goes to say that nu meddle (by pink floyd) or rap meddle (by pink floyd) bands aren't catchy any ways they just KICK ASS MAN. *goes to sleep* Reviewer Rating of CD : | |
