Everyone thought "Californication" was so good...and everyone was wrong...well, that is, if you look at the Red Hot Chili Peppers newest album, "By The Way." Every song, (with the exception of "Throw Away Your Television") is great on this full album. As of now, there are four singles off the album, and there are likely to be more. It has become platinum in over 20 countries, and multi-platinum in 11 countries. It is a must-buy album, without doubt. Thought by many to be the best Chili Peppers album, if you don't get it you are more than just missing out. If you are interested in hearing some of the songs off the album, all you have to do is turn on the radio for 10 minutes.

Reviewer Rating of CD :

Following the massive success of Californication, the Red Hot Chili Peppers returned with this, another album full of breezy pop-rock. However, contrary to the reviews found in many professional sources, I don't believe it succeeds entirely. Far too many songs set out to be melodic masterpieces but fail to reel you into the extent they should. It's a good album, but not nearly up to the standard many seem to think.

Reviewer Rating of CD :

This album is not the best by the red hots but it has some good trcks. If you are into 'new age'pop sounding songs then maybe you might like a lot of the songs on this album. The album consists of great songs such as:

.Cant Stop
.By the Way
.Zephyr Song

The okay songs include:

.Universally Speaking
.Throw Away Your Television
.Cabron
.Minor Thing

The rest of the songs are completly sickening. They seriously make me feal sick in my belly.
If you are or were a complete rhcp lover then i do not recommend this album for it could make you very sad.
