| Nothing's shocking is an older CD put out by Jane's Addiction. Jane's Addiction is now very popular along with lead singer Perry Farell's creation, Lollapalooza. Nothing's Shocking is the album that really brough attention to the band. While the album came out in 1988, I think it's way ahead of it's time. With heavy guitar and strange lyrics, its reminiscent of mid 90's alternarock. Jane's Addiction is a talented band and it really shows in this CD. Perry Farell's wailing voice really adds a unique element to the band's music. The track "Jane Says" is probably the most popular song out by the band, but I think it's a misleading view of most of the band's music. They seem to be more of a rock, almost metal-like band than a mellow alternative band. This is a great CD, and I think it's really worth buying if your into pre 90's rock music. | a nice little van halenesque/red hot chili peppers type album.
wait, this is jane's addictino? janes addictino? who's janes addictino? nobody I Know for sure. this album's a bit weaker than ritual de lo habitual, but it rocks more often. which isn't a positive in and of itself. problem is too many weak songs kill the great ones. ritual de lo habitual is brilliant but the new album sucks.
